It's been almost two whole weeks since B-Day (Brace Day). I am happy to report that my mouth feels much better, and I am not ingesting as much Tylenol these days.
I can't say that I have noticed any change in teeth movement, but I have only only been wearing my braces two weeks. *Wishful thinking*
One of the biggest adjustments I've made so far happens to be the teeth cleaning process. I have all the handy tools one would need: Electronic water pick, handy-dandy super floss, brace sensitive tooth brush (and travel brush), special non-whiting tooth paste, and last but not least ACT mouth wash. I have managed to decrease my ACT (average cleaning time) from 25 minutes to just under 15. I have found that the flossing holds me back, so I think I will invest in a good floss threader today.
My speech as also taken a backseat to the braces. I am finding it very diificult to get the words out of my mouth as I think them. This could be a good thing, or a bad thing ...
SO, overall, the braces aren't that bad. No pain, no gain - right?
Until next time brace lovers, i'm signing off!
